My Friends Laughed When I Told Them I Was Going to Retire Financially Free Through Property Investing… But Then When I quit My Job…
In 2001, I had huge consumer debt and no real assets. Whilst sitting around a campfire on holidays with my husband Ed, we realised that come time for retirement, we’d be living off just $28,000 a year as a couple.
Not only that, we wanted to start a family. And I didn’t want to have to return to work a few weeks after having a baby just to keep up with living expenses.
